I created a character movement system in Unreal Engine 5. Through Blender and ZBrush, I modeled this cartoon-style fox pawn character and used hand-painted textures to add playfulness to the character design.

After rigging and weight painting, I keyframed a complete set of animations to be connected in the anime blueprint. The anime blueprint and the actor blueprint both react to the keyboard input through calculations that happen in the tick function. Some of the physics calculations, such as the falling curve, are scripted in C++ to increase readability.
